What is a TAN Kill Switch?ΒΆ
A Trusted Area Network, provided by CyberHive Connect, allows secure communication between Endpoints. The TAN may also incorporate exit nodes to allow traffic to flow from an Endpoint to the Internet.
Much like a conventional VPN, it is possible to configure a TAN to block all traffic flowing from the TAN to the Internet when exit nodes are unavailable. This increases the security of the TAN, preventing data from "leaking".
Note
The Kill Switch is only active when the Connect client is activated and there is at least one approved exit node in the Organisation.
