Part 3: Endpoints

This tutorial begins where Part 2 left off. We'll create an Endpoint by installing the Connect client software on a Linux or Windows machine, and configuring it for interactive login.

Info

The combination of a Connect client installation, along with a specific configuration, is known as an Endpoint.

Tip

You can run as many Endpoints as you like within the bounds of your plan. If you need more Endpoints, simply contact us via cyberhive.com.

Tip

We recommend rebooting the machine after Connect is installed and configured, or upgraded.

Installing the Connect client

Head over to the relevant how-to for your platform:

• Install Connect on Linux
• Install Connect on Windows

Follow the instructions to install and configure the client (using the credentials created previously).
